简介：
Michael Waterman is a professor of Biological Sciences, Mathematics, Computer Science at University of Southern California. He holds an Endowed Associates Chair at USC. Also, He also holds a Professor position at Fudan University. Professor Waterman was named a Guggenheim Fellow (1995), elected to the American Academy of Art and Sciences, the US National Academy of Sciences and the US National Academy of Engineering (2012). He is also a foreign member of the the French Académie des Sciences and the Chinese Academy of Sciences. Professor Waterman has been awarded a Guggenheim Fellowship, a Gairdner Foundation International Award and the Dan David Prize.
