Assistant Professor of City University of Hong Kong

Abstract:

Dr. Xin (Sunny) Wang received the B.S. degree from Peking University in 2005, and the Ph.D. degree from Columbia University in 2010. His Ph.D. study was focused on the theory of strongly correlated materials, in particular the high-Tc superconductors. From 2010-2015, Dr. Wang was a Research Associate in Condensed Matter Theory Center at University of Maryland, College Park. Since 2015 he joined the City University of Hong Kong as an Assistant Professor. His current research interests include the theory of quantum computation using electrons as well as strongly correlated electron systems. He has published 30+ journal papers which has been cited 500+ times.
