Abstract:
Professor Chen joined Guanghua School of Management in May 2008 and is currently the director of business statistics and econometrics department. Professor Chen received his Ph.D. in Statistics from the Australian National University in 1993. Prior to joining Guanghua, he was a professor of statistics at Iowa State University.
Professor Chen was a member of the Board of the International Chinese Statistical Institute from 2008 to 2009, received the Outstanding Research Award from the Iowa State University faculty in 2008, and was elected as a member of the IMS in 2009 and a fellow of the American Statistical Society (ASA). He was elected for the 2008 first overseas high-level talent “Thousands of people Plan.”
His Research Interests includes Inference for High Dimensional Data; Inference for Stochastic Processes; Multiple System Survey for US Census; Empirical Likelihood; Inference for various risk; Analysis on Missing data.
