Yao Qiwei is a Professor of Statistics at London School of Economics and Political Science, Distinguished Professor of Guanghua School of Management at Peking University, Expert of “Thousand Talents Plan”, Honorary Professor of Statistics and Actuarial Science at University of Hong Kong, Honorary Member of Royal Institution of Statistics, Honorary American Statistical Society Member and honorary member of Mathematical Statistics Society. Professor Yao Qiwei is an internationally renowned statistician and has been engaged in teaching and research statistics. His main research areas: time series analysis, the process of space-time analysis, financial econometrics. Professor Yao Qiwei has served as associate editor of top magazines including Annals of Statistics, Journal of the American Statistical Association, Journal of the Royal Statistical Society (Series B), and he was a co-editor of Statistica Sinica.
