Abstract:
Zhou Xiaofang is a Professor of Computer Science of University of Queensland, Australia, Director of Data and Knowledge Engineering Research Center of University of Queensland. His main research interests include spatial databases, multimedia databases, data quality, data mining, high performance data processing, memory databases and web information systems, and their applications in bioinformatics, geographic information systems, mobile object management, hydrological information systems, Health systems, Web search and video data retrieval applications. Professor Zhou has long been engaged in database and information system research. He has accumulated a great deal of experience and achievements in the basic research of large-scale and complex data management integration and analysis as well as the application of massive data front-ends.
