Abstract：
Jing Wang is founder of a financial technology company, FinTell Inc., with a mission to “make finance more intelligent”. FinTell provides advanced big-data risk management solutions to variety of financial institutions. Jing is an accomplished leader in the risk management, model and data analytics space. Prior to joining Baidu, he was Senior Vice President at American Express. During his 17-year tenure at American Express, Jing held senior risk and information management positions spanning key products, customer segments and functions. In each of these roles, Jing demonstrated a passion for innovation. He developed and implemented cuttingedge models and risk strategies that contributed to industrybest performance during the Great Recession of 2008.
Jing was a voting member on a number of American Express enterprise risk committees including US Credit Strategy, US Underwriting, US Collections Strategy, and World-wide Authorizations Strategy.Jing is highly sought after in the financial services industry for his risk management expertise. He is frequently invited to speak to university students, at industry conferences and financial companies. While in the US, he was invited to speak at the Model Risk Management Forum hosted by the Federal Reserve Bank. He also served as a member of theSAS Customer Analytics Board.
Jing studied nuclear physics in Fudan University and earned a Ph.D. in Physics and an MBA in Finance from Michigan State University.
